"Kahe Diya Pardes" Two States serial with Marathi tone to it
"Kahe Diya Pardes" the marathi serial shown on Zee Marathi is a copy of Two States written by if Chetan Bhagat was a Maharastrian! Gauri Sawant a Maharastrian girl in love with Shiv Kumar Sharma A boy from Uttar Pradesh.
The serial has all the tones of a love story fit for a film where inter state love affair is not appreciated by the families of both the lovers.
The serial is taking a tern for the worst as now Gauri is engaged to be married and Shiv cant do anything about it against his mother or her fathers will.
Gauri as a character is too obedient of her father to forgot her love affair just to maintain good relations with her father. It shows her inherit ant weakness to fall in love in the first place itself.
Her Father is a stone headed Maharashtra first person who should be punished for his racist tones in the serial.
Shiv Kumar though being seriously in love with Gauri now seems helpless to convince her father about his good intentions. His mother too seems too dominating in the family to do any good in their love story.
Other characters are wasted with no power to influence any changes to the script
Over all the serial even if a good concept is now wasted or stretched beyond its useful sense.

"Jai Malhar" on Zee Marathi A Review
"Jai Malhar" a mythological serial on Zee Marathi which started 2 years ago is still going strong. The serial is produced by Mahesh Kothare a well known Marathi Actor Producer.
The serial is about Lord Khandoba from Jejuri in Maharashtra, India. It is said that he is a reincarnation or Avatar of Lord Shiva.
The serial initially held ground on basic facts about Lord Khandoba, but now it seems to be relining off track as in seems to now deal with personal conflict between Khandoba and his two wives Mahalsa and Banu.
The serial is being stretched beyond the mythology and now it seems that Mr. Mahesh Kothare is adding his own version of the myth in the serial.
The serial is treated well by the audience and still is going strong. It is the first mythological based Marathi serial.
I rate 3.5/5 to this serial as of its current show!
